The penultimate tournament of the Zone Phase of the Women’s Challenge Trophy in Africa is finished and we have the 7th participant of the Continental Phase. The team fighting for Continental glory out of Zone 2 will be Cabo Verde. The girls from the beautiful island, have won the final after a thrilling match against the strong team of Senegal, beating them only after 7-meter throws since the match in regular time ended 20:20. This time the team of Senegal was not so lucky because they qualified for the final on the same way they lost here. Through 7 meter throws, beating Guinea 27:25 (match ended 24:24 after regular time). In the second semi final Cabo Verde was convincing against Mali, dominating in match they won 30:15.
