The bidders for the 2021 and 2023 Men’s World  Handball Championship had a chance to present their bids and their organizational concepts in the Headquarters of the International Handball Federation in Basel today.

The national Federations of Egypt, represented by its President Mr. Khaled Hammouda presented the venues and the organizational structure for their bid while Mr. Lajos Mocsai made the presentation on behalf of the Hungarian Handball Federation. Besides the Event in 2021, the HHF is also bidding for the 2023 Men’s World Championship. There they will have to face a competition of a joint by bid Poland and Sweden who will try to get the right to host the Event. These Federations were represented by former world class player Mr. Stefan Lövgren and the Secretary General of the Polish Federation Mr. Marek Goralczyk.

The final decision on awarding the Events in 2021 and 2023 will be made by the IHF Council  on its next meeting. On it, all bidders will have a chance to make a final 20 minute presentation of their bid.
