Following the conclusion of the first two quarter-finals of the 2025 IHF Men’s World Championship, the schedule for the semi-finals can now be revealed.

Drama was everywhere in the Arena Zagreb in the first day of the quarter-finals, with Croatia taking a last-second win against Hungary, 31:30, while France defeated Egypt, 34:33, with less than a second on the clock.

The first semi-final will take place in Zagreb, on Thursday, 30 January, being scheduled at 21:00 CET, and is the rematch of the final between France and Croatia from the 2009 IHF Men's World Championship, which France won, 24:19, in the Arena Zagreb.

The second semi-final will see the winner of the quarter-final between Denmark and Brazil, play against the winner of the quarter-final between Portugal and Germany in the Unity Arena in Baerum, one day later, on Friday, 31 January, at 20:30 CET.
