USA double down with another title at the  Men's IHF Trophy North America and the Caribbean - Junior

Eight junior (U20) national team took part in the Men's IHF Trophy North America and the Caribbean, which took place in Mexico from 4 to 8 December 2024, weeks later after the United States of America secured the title in the U18 Men's IHF Trophy North America and the Caribbean.

After winning the competition, the USA team booked their tickets to the Intercontinental Phase of the IHF Trophy, and together with the runners-up Mexico, secured their berths at the 2025 IHF Men's Junior World Championship, which will be staged in Poland next summer.

In the opening stage, eight teams were divided into two groups of four sides. In Group A, USA won all the games and reached the semi-finals alongside Mexico, leaving Canada and Saint Kitts and Nevis behind. Meanwhile Cuba and Martinique progressed from Group B, finishing ahead of Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

In the semi-finals, USA defeated Martinique 33:26, and Mexico beat Cuba in a close fight, 38:36. The Cubans won the bronze-medal match against Martinique, 40:33, and in a hard-fought final encounter, USA snatched a 26:25 win over home side Mexico to claim the title.
